 Founded in 1985, Guangxi Beihai Penshibao Co.,Ltd is located in Beihai City in south China, and now it is a foreign-owned enterprise that incorporates R&D, production, marketing, and service of hi-tech agro-chemicals, being the largest foliar fertilizer production base in China. The company name, Penshibao, is acclaimed as “the No.1 agricultural brand in China” by the Development Research Center ( an affiliate to the State Council), and the only “Chinese Well-known Mark” both in the Country’s foliar fertilizer industry and Guangxi agricultural industry. At present, the company holds 32 registered trademarks and has applied trademark protections in 66 countries.
“ Penshibao” , flagship products of the Company, have been applied in area of more than 6 billon mu, generating economic benefits over RMB 120 billion. The Company is now ISO9001 and ISO14001 accredited, and named by the State as “ High technology enterprise” and identified as “ China’ Top Private Enterprise”.
In 2004,when addressing the session of the C.P.P.C ,Wang proposed to take advantage of the vast China Post network for the purpose of distributing agro-materials. His proposal was then valued by the leaders from the central government and later put into a national significance. At present, the distribution via China Post is very much welcomed by the farmers from all provinces around China. By collaborating with China Post, the Company takes a leading position in delivering agro-materials through 70,000 post offices all over the country that employ nearly 1 million postmen, resulting in roaring increase of sales of foliar fertilizers.
Confront with the fact that China becomes the world’s biggest nation of aquaculture, the Company is dedicated to developing a eco-friendly product, namely “ Yuxia Kele”, which helps to reduce pollutions brought up by aquatic farming, and assists to secure product quality and food safety. The new product, well received by aquatic farmers, is approved as a Hi-tech one and is directed to working closely with some of the top experts who are specialized in researching and developing wild paddy resources, for the sake of improving the quality cereals.
The company is now operating 5 major product categories (i.e. foliar fertilizer, ecological aquaculture aid, ecological farm chemical, feedstuff additive, and high-quality rice breed) under which more than 60 specific products are marketed. The company is named as one of the key enterprise in developing cereals. In implementing the “ Market Linking Thousands of Villages and Township” Project, initiated by the Ministry of Commerce to build farm supplies chain stores, our excelling performance has set a benchmark for this project in Beihai Guangxi.
